Every aspect of this home is custom built. At it's heart are the douglas fir and white cedar timbers, sourced from northern Vancouver Island and assembled using old world craftsmanship and construction methods. The timber erection was led by an Timbermaster from Switzerland.

The expansive 5700 square feet of living space on the two main floors feel cozy, warm and inviting. Soaring 29 foot ceilings provide a breathtaking setting. True floor to ceiling windows yield abundant natural light and tranquil views of trees and wildlife. An additional 2500 square feet in the fully developed basement has full sized windows and two separate entrances, including to a single car garage.

This home has the look and feel of a European mountainside ski chalet, but is modern and efficient where it matters. Spray foam insulation, highly efficient German boiler system, in floor heat on all levels, self-contained back up power generation, and commercial-grade ventilation systems return heating costs that are comparable to a house a fraction of it's size.
